True friendship to me, is the ability to accept, not to change my friend/s. To be supportive, not judgemental or to save the friend from their self-destructive behavior, but to gently guide them through the best possible way and to accept that maybe they are not ready yet. Relationships are about being there for each other. That being said, you do have to know when to let go and pray they wake up.
Having the ability to see the gift they are showing and giving you and the gift you are giving to them, is a blessing. Some of which will not always be pleasant, but if you know it is done out of love, maybe you can accept, or at least listen to what is being said.
True friendship has no desire to give or cause pain. Most of the relationship should be joyful, endearing, respectful and full of love, never wanting to burst their bubble.
True friendship is such a gift. To share intimate details of ones life, the highs, the lows and in-betweens makes life worth while.
All my Love, always Angelina
